David Sassoon Library in Mumbai. The 150-year-old David Sassoon Library is open to both readers and fans of architecture. With its tall arches, oak chairs, and picnic tables overlooking a sizable garden area, the library exudes a calm atmosphere. Despite being a historic landmark, the building’s existence is in jeopardy due to a lack of funding. They have literature on architecture, art, and travel in their reading area. They have a large balcony outside the reading room, which is a nice spot to read while getting some sun.
