Before the deadline of January 31, FASTag KYC details must be updated, according to the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI). After January 31, 2024, banks will deactivate or blacklist all FASTags with insufficient Know Your Customer (KYC) updates, even in circumstances when there is sufficient balance, according to the NHAI.

The electronic toll collection system FASTag makes it more simpler to pay the toll taxes at toll plazas by collecting tolls on roadways. The tag, which is linked to a bank account or prepaid card, is placed on the windshield of the vehicle. When a vehicle approaching the toll booth with a FASTag attached, RFID technology is used. After reading the tag, the scanner subtracts the toll.
How can you update your FASTag KYC?
You can change your KYC for FASTag by following these steps:
- Visit the FASTag website in its entirety.
- Enter the OTP you received on your phone together with your mobile number to log in.
- Locate the “My Profile” area on the homepage, then select the KYC tab.
- After entering the required information, press the submit button.
- We will finish the KYC.
Which records are necessary to finish FASTag KYC?
A passport-size photo, identity verification, address verification, and a car registration certificate are the documents needed for FASTag KYC.

- Check out fastag.ihmcl.com
- At the right top of the page, select the Login tab.
- Enter the OTP to log in, then enter the registered mobile number.
- The KYC status of your FASTag will be displayed when you select the My Profile area of the dashboard.
