Archaeological Survey of India . This lovely library opened its doors in 1902, Over 100,000 books, documents, and journals are housed in the library’s collection. The topics covered include history, anthropology, archaeology, architecture, art, epigraphy & numismatics, indology, literature, geology, and other topics.
You won’t find them at galleries, but they also have an incredible collection of rare books and artwork. The general public is welcome to use the library for research. The library is free to use for research.
