This ancient Muslim library, built in 1912, is a really special location. They have volumes there that are 200 years old, the stuff of every researcher’s dreams.
With several important and rare manuscripts in the Urdu and Persian languages, the library is a veritable gold mine of historical information and classic literature.
The visitor’s book at the Muslim Library lists the visits and remarks of notable individuals like Muhammad Iqbal (1929), Syed Sulaiman Nadvi (1925), Baba-e-Urdu Maulvi Abdul Haq (1937), the editor of the Urdu literary journal Shair, Seemab Akbarabadi, Josh Malihabadi, and Jigar Moradabadi (1942), among others.
