Nepal National Library, also referred to as the National Library of Nepal, is the country’s largest and oldest library. Located in Kathmandu,
it was established in 1895 and has a vast collection of books, manuscripts, and documents related to Nepal’s history, culture, and literature.
The library serves as a repository of Nepal’s cultural heritage and provides access to a wide range of materials,
including ancient manuscripts, books, and journals. It also conducts research and promotes literacy and education in Nepal.
The library is a valuable resource for scholars, researchers, and the general public alike.
 Nepal National Library was founded. This library is currently the copyright library run by the Nepali government’s Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology. This library is located next to the UN facility in Pulchok, Lalitpur.
Approximately 84,000 volumes of books, periodicals, and other resources are available at this library in a variety of languages,
including Hindi, English, Sanskrit, and Nepali. Nevertheless, as of right present, loan and membership services are not available.
