Eligibility Criteria (Position-wise highlights)
Each position has specific credentials. Below are the primary/representative requirements — refer to the official notification for full details and subject-wise requirements.
Assistant Commissioner: Master’s degree (≥50%) from a recognized university and B.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution.
Principal: Master’s degree (≥50%), B.Ed. (≥50%) or three-year integrated B.Ed.–M.Ed. (≥50%) from NCTE-recognized institution.
Vice Principal: Master’s degree (≥50%) and B.Ed. (≥50%) or three-year integrated B.Ed.–M.Ed. (≥50%).
PGTs: Integrated postgraduate/ Master’s degree (≥50%) in the relevant subject and B.Ed. (≥50%) from an NCTE-recognized institution.
PRTs (Primary Teachers): Senior Secondary (Class XII) with ≥50%; OR relevant Bachelor degree for specific posts (e.g., Bachelors in Music/Performing Arts with music as main subject where applicable).

Selection Procedure
Two-tier examination followed by interview (for applicable posts).
Final merit weightage: 85% marks of Tier-2 + 15% interview (out of 100).
Candidates shortlisted for interviews/document verification must produce a medical certificate certifying fitness and functional ability for the post.
Noncompliance with required conditions may lead to disqualification for that post.
NVS selected applicants will receive applicable allowances plus a 10% special allowance for home responsibilities (not applicable for Assistant Commissioner (Academics) NVS).
Application Procedure

Applications via other portals or links will be rejected.
Only Indian citizens may apply.
One application per candidate per post is allowed; if applying for multiple posts, a separate fee must be paid for each post.
Within PGTs and TGTs a candidate may apply for only one subject/post.
Candidates applying for multiple posts may receive different exam centers; CBSE/KVS/NVS are not responsible for center allocation requests.
Ensure you have an active personal email and mobile number for registration and future communications.
Register on the application portal, create login credentials, and complete the online form. Upload photograph and signature per instructions.
No changes are allowed after final submission. Ensure name, DOB and parent details match Class X certificates.
