The Indian Air Force (IAF), under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has announced the Agniveervayu Non-Combatant Recruitment 2026 under the Agnipath Scheme. This opportunity is exclusively for unmarried male candidates who have completed their 10th standard and aspire to serve the nation with pride.

About the Agnipath Scheme

The Agnipath Scheme is a transformative recruitment model introduced to empower India’s youth to serve in the Armed Forces for four years. Selected candidates, known as Agniveers, receive disciplined military training, skill development, leadership exposure, and national service experience.

After completion of four years, approximately 25% of high-performing Agniveers may be enrolled permanently into the regular cadre based on merit and organizational needs.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

• Born between 02 July 2005 and 02 January 2009 (inclusive).
• Upper age at enrollment must not exceed 21 years.

Marital Status

• Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
• Marriage during the 4-year service period leads to discharge without benefits.

Educational Qualification

• Passed Matriculation (10th) from a recognized board.
• Original certificate mandatory during verification.
