Criteria for Eligibility
The candidate must be employed as a contractual or state pool teacher under SSA as of 30th September 2025.
The candidate must have a minimum of three years of continuous service as of September 30, 2025, as contractual and state pool teachers under SSA.

Salary
Lower primary and upper primary teachers get an initial salary within Pay Band – 2 (PB-2) ranging from Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/-, in addition to Grade Pay and other applicable allowances as stipulated by “The Assam Service (Revision of Pay) (Amendment) Rules, 2019.”
