Criteria for Eligibility

  • Candidates must possess an ITI qualification in the relevant field.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age Requirement: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age Limit: 24 Years
  • The candidate must be born between October 2, 2002, and September 2, 2008.
  • Age relaxation is permitted in accordance with regulations.

Selection Procedure

The applications will be categorized according to the following criteria:

  • Candidates must have completed ITI in 2017 or subsequent years. Candidates who completed ITI in 2016 or earlier are ineligible to apply.
  • Candidates must apply for one of the specified trades listed in the vacancy table above and hold an ITI certificate in that trade. Multiple ITI qualifications require separate applications.
  • RRCAT may adjust apprenticeship numbers in under-applied trades or increase positions by up to 50% following rules and organization limits.
  • Candidates must have completed 10th class board examination with at least 40% marks. Merit list: 1/3 marks in ITI + 2/3 marks in 10th class.
  • Merit list publication date: December 12, 2025.
  • Confirmation of joining by candidates: December 19, 2025.
  • Final merit list publication: December 30, 2025.
  • Document verification & medical examination: February 2–6, 2026.

Application Procedure

Candidates must register at the NAPS apprenticeship portal and upload scanned copies of the following:

  • Birth certificate or 10th-grade completion certificate
  • 10th-grade mark sheet
  • ITI certificate
  • Photograph
  • Disability certificate (if applicable)
  • Autograph / signature

Subsequently, candidates must register on the RRCAT apprenticeship portal using the NAPS registration number. Only digital applications are accepted. Fraudulent or incorrect submissions are punishable under the Indian Penal Code.

Candidates should prepare scanned copies (jpg or pdf, max 300 kB) of documents before application, including:

  • Birth certificate
  • 10th-grade mark sheet
  • ITI mark sheet & National Trade Certificate
