Criteria for Eligibility
• Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’: M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc (Engg) or an equivalent postgraduate degree in Machine Design with a minimum aggregate of 60% or a CGPA/CPI of 6.5 on a 10-point scale, alongside a prerequisite qualification of B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg) or an equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum aggregate of 65% (average of all semesters) or a CGPA/CPI of 6.84 on a 10-point scale.
• Technical Assistant: First Class Diploma in Relevant Engineering from an accredited University/Institution.
• Scientific Assistant: First Class B.Sc. with Chemistry as the primary subject from an accredited University/Institution. Bachelor of Fine Arts (Photography) / Visual Arts (Cinematography) with First Class honors from an accredited university/institution.
• Library Assistant ‘A’: Graduated with First Class Honors
• Radiographer-A: A first-class diploma in radiography, with a minimum period of two years, from a college or institution recognized by the State or Central Government.
• Technician ‘B’: SSLC/SSC completion + ITI/NTC/NAC certification
• Draughtsman ‘B’: SSLC/SSC completion + ITI/NTC/NAC in Draughtsman (Civil) Trade from NCVT
• Cook: Completion of SSLC/SSC/Matriculation/10th Standard.
• Firemen ‘A’: Qualification of SSLC/SSC/Matriculation/10th Standard
• Light Vehicle Driver ‘A’: Completion of SSLC/SSC/Matriculation/10th Standard.
Nurse-B: First Class Diploma in Nursing, a program of no less than three years’ duration, recognized by the State or Central Government (Nursing qualification must be registered with the appropriate State Nursing Council).

Selection Procedure for Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’:
The selection process will consist of a written test and an interview.
The written test will assess the candidate’s theoretical and practical knowledge, encompassing both the breadth and depth of the designated curriculum.
• Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on their performance in the written test, typically at a ratio of 1:5, with a minimum of 10 candidates per category relative to the number of openings.
• Selection will allocate 50% weight to written test scores and 50% weight to interview scores.
Selection procedure for Technical Assistant/Scientific Assistant/Library Assistant ‘A’/Technician-B/Draughtsman-B
The written test will assess the candidate’s theoretical and practical knowledge, encompassing both the breadth and depth of the approved curriculum.
Shortlisting for the Skill Test:
• Candidates will be shortlisted for the Skill Test based on their performance in the Written Test, categorized in a 1:5 ratio, with a minimum of 10 candidates selected. The candidates will be summoned in groups for the skill test, based on the evaluation results relative to the available vacancies.
Selection procedure for Nurse ‘B’, Radiographer-A, and Cook:
The written test will assess the candidate’s theoretical and practical knowledge, encompassing both the breadth and depth of the designated curriculum.
• Candidates will be shortlisted for the skill test based on their scores in the written test.
The Skill Test will be conducted on a ‘go-no-go’ basis, and the scores achieved in the Skill Test will not be factored into the selection process.
• The ultimate selection will be determined by the scores achieved in the Written Test, among candidates who pass the Skill Test.
• Empanelment will occur in accordance with the scores attained in the Written Test, contingent upon the number of vacancies announced. In the event of a tie in written test scores, the academic scores of the requisite qualification shall serve as the tiebreaker.
Selection procedure for Fireman ‘A’:
The selection process will consist of a written test, a physical efficiency test (PET), and a detailed medical examination (DME).
• The Physical Efficiency Test will be conducted on a ‘go-no-go’ basis, and the scores achieved in this test will not be factored into the selection process. The ultimate selection will be determined by the scores achieved in the written test.
Empanelment will occur based on the scores achieved in the Written Test, among those who have successfully completed the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Detailed Medical Examination (DME).
In the case of a tie in written test results, the inter-se merit of applicants will be determined by their academic performance in the requisite qualifications.
Selection Procedure for Light Vehicle Driver ‘A’
The selection process will consist of a written examination and a skills assessment. The Skill Test will be conducted only on a ‘go-no-go’ basis, and the scores achieved in the Skill Test will not be factored into the selection process.
