After defeating CSK by 27 runs in Match 68 of the IPL 2024 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) became the fourth team to qualify for the playoffs, joining Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Rajasthan Royals (RR), and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
The playoffs’ last four clubs’ rankings are still to be determined. After the rain-related postponement of the KKR vs. RR match, the rankings for the final four teams in the IPL 2024 playoffs were announced. To play the Eliminator is RCB.
Sunrisers, who will play KKR in Qualifier 1 after defeating PBKS in their final league game, have risen to the second position on the IPL 2024 points standings. Rajasthan Royals and RCB will square off in the Eliminator.
But after the league stage ended, Kolkata secured a place in the top two with 20 points.
