Criteria for Eligibility
- Graduate Apprentice: Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech) or equivalent in Engineering, or a B.Sc., B.Com., or B.A. degree from an accredited university. Candidates graduating in 2023, 2024, or 2025 are eligible.
- Technician Apprentice: Diploma in Engineering or a pertinent discipline from an accredited institution. Candidates graduating in 2023, 2024, or 2025 are eligible.
- Trade Apprentice: Completion of 10th grade with an ITI certification from an accredited institution (NCVT/SCVT). Candidates graduating in 2023, 2024, or 2025 are eligible.
Age Restriction (as of 01/11/2025)
- Minimum Age Requirement: 18 Years
- Maximum Age Limit: 27 Years

Application Procedure
Candidates with a degree in engineering must register on the Ministry of Education/GOI portal: https://nats.education.gov.in to get a 16-digit apprenticeship registration number. This is required for applying on the BHEL portal.
After registration, submit applications online at the BHEL Trichy Portal: BHEL Apprenticeship Application Portal (THIRUMAYAM). Follow instructions in Annexure-1 for application submission.

- Recent color passport-sized photograph
- Candidate’s signature on 10th standard/SSLC mark sheet (DOB verification)
- Consolidated mark sheet of educational qualification with community/OBC(NCL)/EWS/PwD certificate
- Screenshot of Aadhaar Card showing 12-digit portal registration number
- Scanned front page of Bank Passbook as uploaded on the government portal
