Criteria for Eligibility
Candidates must possess an MBBS degree.
- Medical qualifications acknowledged in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (excluding licentiate qualifications) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Individuals with educational qualifications listed in part II of the third schedule must meet the requirements outlined in subsection (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree or diploma listed in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule (excluding licentiate qualifications) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Individuals possessing educational qualifications listed in Part II of the third schedule must meet the requirements specified in subsection (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- A postgraduate qualification from an accredited institution as outlined in Appendix A.
- Familiarity with the customs, manners, and dialects of Himachal Pradesh, together with aptitude for appointment under the unique conditions present in the region.

- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 45 Years
- Age calculated as of January 1, 2025
- Age relaxation applicable as per regulations

- Only the date of birth documented in the matriculation/secondary examination certificate or equivalent will be accepted; no alterations allowed.
